Today is a day that feels more like summer than fall, but even though the air conditioner is running and it’s HOT HOT HOT outside (my dad used to say that it was Hotter than Hootnanny), the leaves are turning and crisp crunchy leaves will soon be covering our lawns.
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons. It’s my second favourite, after spring. I love so many things about fall – seeing the farmers harvest their fields, watching the leaves turn to red, gold, and orange, smelling the campfires as we try to be outdoors as much as possible before winter hits, and Thanksgiving! We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful country, and it’s fitting for us to give thanks to God for the many blessings we enjoy.
So, I’m teaching a Fall Sign Workshop. I’ll be painting a bunch of signs later this week and putting up pictures. If you sign up, you’ll get to choose from a variety of signs. Here’s a sneak peek:
I couldn’t find a way to upload this pdf onto Facebook, but if you want to join us on October 3 from 7 – 9 pm at Made in Huron, message me via Facebook @addsomeflair or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me what sign you want to paint.
